Every Medigap plan is measured against the same short list of costs Original Medicare leaves behind. In the chart, a check means the plan covers that benefit in full, a percentage means it pays part, and a dash means you pay it yourself.

Of all eleven, three account for the large majority of everyone with Medigap. If you’re comparing, your choice very likely comes down to these.
Covers everything except the small Part B deductible. Maximum predictability — also comes in a low-premium high-deductible version.
Nearly matches Plan G for a lower premium, in exchange for small copays at some office and ER visits.
Covers every gap, including both deductibles. Available only to those eligible before Jan 1, 2020.
Because every Plan G (or N, or any letter) is identical in coverage across carriers, the chart can’t tell you the one thing that varies: price.
