On Medicare Due to Disability?
The challenge is that there is no federal law that mandates what states are required to offer you if you are under 65 years old and on Medicare. The federal government only fully regulates Medicare Advantage and Part D (drug) plans.
This means that, for most of the country, the best, or only option is having a Medicare Advantage plan until you turn 65. When you turn 65, you get a new Open Enrollment period that then allows you to purchase any Medicare Supplement at the lowest possible price – that is, the age of 65.

You can ONLY enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan if it is either your first 3 months on Part B of Medicare OR it is between October 15th and December 7th (AEP).
